ABOUT

Hi, I’m Elisa—the creative pen and ink behind Atelier Freudenthal. Born and raised in South Tyrol, I’ve been happiest with a pencil, brush, and paper in my hands for as long as I can remember.
After graduating with a degree in Set Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, I spent several years working as an Art Director and Production Designer for various theaters as well as cinema and television productions, both locally and abroad.
Today, after many years away, I am back in South Tyrol, living with my husband, my son, and our mini poodle. I spend my days drawing, painting, and writing with great joy for tiny and tall people.
In order to grow my business independently and as sustainably as possible, I founded the studio ATELIER FREUDENTHAL a self-publishing house and online shop.
